Earth Day Panel: Rethinking the Environmental Movement
April 22, 2026
Chaos & Catharsis brings together Rev. Billy Talen and Samantha Sweetwater, in conversation with Daniel Pinchbeck, for an evening of reflection on the evolution of the environmental movement. From early conservation efforts and street protest to today’s broader reckoning with climate disruption, inequality, and spiritual disconnection, the panel will explore how the movement is changing and what forms of activism, leadership, and community this moment now requires. The evening is designed not only to illuminate the scale of the challenges before us, but also to help people imagine a more grounded, relational, and life-affirming path forward.
