Friends of the Irvington Theater and Irvington Theater presents

Everett Bradley’s HOLIDELIC

Sunday, December 20 at 3pm

Back by popular demand, HOLIDELIC is returning to the Irvington stage! Created by Grammy-nominated singer/percussionist, Bon Jovi's own, EVERETT BRADLEY (Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Hall & Oates and more), HOLIDELIC is Holiday folk- and funk-lore cleverly told through 70’s and 80’s inspired originals and reimagined classics that celebrate the spirit of the season, love, light, and one nation under a groove.

Bradley brings to life funk’s Father Christmas, Papadelic, who is a combo of George Clinton and a soulful Santa. He weaves this funky Holiday tale with humor, heart and booty-shakin’ grooves played by a P-funk clad band featuring top-notch touring musicians. The setting is the best of Bradley’s favorite 2 worlds: theatre with a dance groove! And after 20 years, Bradley has perfected his funk holiday magic into a Holiday classic.

Here what the critics say about the show!

“Bradley’s tunes will liven up anyone’s familiar mix of music with pulsating rhythms that bring to mind the work of funk and soul greats like Sly Stone and P-Funk and clever conceits that put a fresh spin on familiar sentiments…”
— Andy Propst, TheaterMania
“A flashy, bass-heavy retro-futuristic take on the holidays.”
— The New Yorker
“A holiday funk-tacular.”
— Time Out New York
