IT Series

We are excited to offer music, theater, comedy, and dance along with other unique programming to our patrons. Here are some series produced by IT for the upcoming season.

As iFF (All Shorts Irvington Film Festival) is an international film festival which presents animated, live action and documentary shorts curated from submissions by filmmakers from around the world. The most outstanding are selected after a rigorous and highly competitive viewing and elimination process by festival producers. The evening of shorts is created to achieve a cohesive narrative flow that results in a unique experience for the audience.

Our mission is to present compelling and diverse shorts that reflect original concepts, innovative storytelling, outstanding writing and acting, and high production value.

As iFF is presented as a one-night-only event which sells out to an audience of film enthusiasts, garnering extensive press coverage and offering each selected film exceptional visibility. The festival has featured never-before-seen world premieres, United States and New York premieres, student works, and shorts that have won prizes at other international festivals.

Since its debut in 2015, As iFF has gained a worldwide following, with filmmakers and patrons traveling from abroad to attend. The selection process has grown increasingly competitive, and As iFF is now recognized globally as a sought-after festival by both renowned and up-and-coming filmmakers.

This year there will be several concerts at the theater. Some produced by members of the commission, others produced with arts partners such as Common Ground and Funner Productions. These concerts will cover a wide variety of music as we cast our net far and wide in order to offer something for everyone.

This is the second season for our diversity series which was a huge hit last year. There were three different events that ranged from non-binary lives to immigrant stories to other-abled bodies. What is unique about this series is while it covers many areas of what some consider diverse, the stories come from the voices of people living those lives rather than others talking about them. The evenings are always different either told through film, art, poetry, or spoken word. Keep your eyes open on what will be offered this season.

This series is just as it states: NYC comedians invade the Irvington Theater bringing the city to the Rivertowns. This series started last season and was a huge hit. So we've planned three different ones during this year with great headliners from New York City. Don't miss out on what will be a hilarious night in Irvington.
